RECENT WORK

Last year I began working on a series of flourished musical wedding themes.  Here is a scan of one of them entitled simply "Here Comes the Bride!"

Here is a photo of some escort cards I did for a beautiful wedding at a vineyard near Charlottesville, Virginia. The walnut ink and hand painted gold leaves were all done on Fabriano papers from Italy.

Here is a scan of a monogram I recently created for clients in NYC. They will be using it for their personal stationery and thank you cards. I LOVE doing monograms!

Part of a gift certificate for calligraphy lessons created recently for a client's daughter:

Part of an engraved wedding invitation ensemble, photographed by Shane Dwyer:

Below are some photos plus some scans of an engraved invitation ensemble I recently did for a wonderful Omaha couple. Carrie Ratcliff, a graphic designer with Bozell Advertising, conceived the overall design using beautiful laser cutouts and I carried out the lettering and flourishing. It was engraved in pewter on the most luxurious of Crane's classic papers making addressing envelopes an absolute dream job!

Three different gold inks and gouache plus Ziller inks used on handmade, heavily textured rough papers from Porridge Papers to create the buffet station signs for the Kubly/Pugliese wedding (bride and groom were featured in Town & Country magazine)

These escort cards were hand lettered using walnut and gold ink on handmade textured papers, again from Porridge Papers. Green silk background.
