WEDDING SCRIBE: Calligraphy by Anne Sheedy: HEIRLOOM COMMISSION DETAILS

Sometimes a wedding calligraphy client will ask me to create a one-of-a-kind Heirloom Piece for an anniversary gift to a spouse. I love doing these. Calligraphy, engrossing techniques and botanical art are all part of these large pieces. Here are some of my study pages:

This is one of many rose and rose petal studies I am doing now in
preparation for completing two very large heirloom pieces for
clients in New York City by the end of the year.

Each leaf can take me hours to complete. The Sennelier watercolors
and Fabriano Artisico papers I'm now using are really wonderful!
